Greek Salad



The Greek salad recipe (as you can learn from its name) comes from the Mediterranean.
The Balkan people love to drip olive oil on it eat it in breakfast with fresh bread which has just got out from oven and black olives beside of it.
This combination of the fresh vegetables and the salty cheese creates a yummy salad,
which can be served at any hour of the day.
It's a simple recipe of mix it and eat it.

Ingredients

  • 4 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 100g Feta cheese, cubed
  • 12 olives
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • handful fresh basil, roughly torn
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Directions

mix together all the ingredients a few minutes until all the flavors unite.
